I tell you when it rains it pours....
Brinlee has been sick since Jan. 24th!!! And I have been stuck in the house for a week and a half. Brad was gone to sunny California, so he missed pretty much all of it.... Lucky him. FIRST Brinlee got this rash and we were really worried, then we found out it was just because she she is allergic to certain kinds of laundry detergent... I found that out the MOM's way.. I riped everything from her room and washed it all. Then it went away a couple of days later, and the doctor said we could do nothing HAH!!!
SECOND: Brinlee got a stuffy nose and was coughing all the time, she was having a hard time sleeping.. I felt so bad.... But we have stayed in the house and she gave it to everyone, me, her dad, my Mom-- her cousin Maddie who then gave it to Kamie and Nate.... WOW But it is all gone and Brad and I are soon off to Las Vegas... I know it is not that Glamorous, but it is something.
ONE GOOD THING:
Brinlee got her First tooth!!!! I felt it on Jan. 30th around 6:12 p.m. Then Brad and I looked at it that night... I tell you I was way excited.... IT explains why she has not been a very happy girl lately. But we finally got one.. and it looks like the one next to it is coming right in after.

Poor Brinlee, it is so sad when kids are sick. Tip-I used to put my kids to sleep in their car seats so that they were sitting up a little bit. I would drive around for a minute until they were asleep and then put the carseat in the crib. They are heavy sleepers so it worked well and they were able to at least breathe. Keep in touch. We will have a play date when Finley can leave the house again. Probably around the end of May. I hope that you guys start feeling better soon!
I'm glad that she is feeling better, sick kids are no fun. That is so exciting that she is getting a tooth. Yeah Bennett is getting his in too, his first ones that is. Yes he still has no teeth!
I am going to Vegas this weekend, when are you going?
I'm so happy that everyone is better. Yea! Just think....after Brinlee's sealing it will almost be time for Spring. I can't wait to take them to the pool this year. I hope you are having a wonderful time in Vegas.
I am so sorry she was sick. It is so hard when kids are suffering! And you did it on your own! The hubby owes you a night out! Have a fun trip!
